As I prepared to move from one city to the next I had to find a way to continue working minus a studio, a packable, flexible and moveable way of working so I started what I call "THE PAPER CITY project". The paper city is an on going project that attempts to express the more intangible aspects of the city.... a shadow, a corner, the line at the edge of a building..... I am using paper because it can be packed, folded, put in pockets and carried with me. So I began my project with the end of my days in Mexico City, back to what had been the source of my work for the last 3 years. I continue now from Madrid. This is a work in progress and all works are on paper......
